Foldable Tote Bag Sewing Tutorial:
You will need:
- Quilters Cotton (regular cotton works too, I just find quilters cotton to be a bit thicker).
- Plastic Snaps Set (I love using the plastic snaps set as it is so easy and pretty cheap)!
- All Purpose Sewing Thread (My fav brand is Gutermann)
Cut List:
- Larger Pieces: 18.5″ tall by 16″ wide (Cut 2)
- Handles: 27″ tall by 4″ wide (Cut 2)
- Front Pocket: 9″ tall by 7.5″ Wide (Cut 2)
Special Measurements to know:
- When adding the handles to the tote bag pieces, measure 4.5″ from both edges.
- Mark a 3″ line from the bottom edge of the pocket.
- When placing the front pocket, center it between the two sides and place it 3.5″ from the top.
