To make this punch needle pillow diy just download the below file and get to punching that project!
Items Needed for the punch needle pillow diy:
- DOWNLOAD the Teddy Bear Pillow Template HERE.
- 14″ or 17″ Morgan no-slip hoop
- Amazon punch needle or Oxford Punch Needle #8 or #10
- high quality monks cloth (12 – 14 holes per inch)
- durable yarn
Since it is a pillow try to use yarn you think will handle well over time as pillows tend to get sat on a lot…..even if they are meant to be decorative!
For my pillow I used a cheap acrylic yarn and it has fared quite well.
Step One:
Trace the teddy bear face on the monks cloth, prep the fabric and get to punching!

Once the face has been needle punched to completion, take it out of the morgan no-slip hoop and move on to putting the pillow together by following the youtube tutorial.
Do NOT cut excess fabric away from the teddy bear face at this time.
DO trace out the backing pattern onto fabric and cut out.
And Voila! You have sewn your first punch needle pillow diy!
I hope you enjoyed this project, if you are looking for any more free punch needle templates I have a blog post that I will continue adding new drawings to as I make them. So I hope you will check that out!
